Yers. We had an earthquake at around four minutes to one!!!
Shook my chair which is a bit springy and made the monitor wobble as well,
going click click click. Scared the shits out of me. I thought I had a
poltergeist! Made my belly shake as well and I felt sick!
Accordion to LBC, it's been felt in Welwyn, Uxbridge and even in Birmingham!
People's bookcases felled over and pictures fell from off of walls
Nervous Nemo!

I don't "for a bit" but of you hum a few bars, I'm sure I'll get it.

That's an idea! Let's blame the earthquake on Dubbaya. Everything else seems
to be eez fault these days! |

It just sang a very deep musical note. I was rather concerned as it seemed
to be vibrating at the resonant frequency but there doesn't seem to be any
damage.

You may joke, but after the Indian Ocean tsunami, the affected countries
unanimously blamed the US. It seems that the US Geological Survey had been
warning of the possibility of just such a disaster for some years. They had
suggested that an earthquake warning system be put in place, which they the
US would help to fund, but the countries didn't want to spend the money
because such a disaster was so unlikely. Of course when the disaster
actually occurred, apparently it was all the fault of the US because they
didn't pay for the warning system.

For two bits, would it sing the Hallelujah Chorus?

No, but it could get a shave and a haircut.
