On a log scale, RHOD postings per month,
http://rather.puzzling.org/~tconnors/rhod.png
demonstrating exponential growth of RHOD, then decay. We'll be down
to one post a month in 2016.
On a linear scale, same RHOD postings per month:

I do note that I joined up in 1998, thanks to Screwtape. At the same
time he told me to also join alt.religion.kibology, but refused to
tell me what kibology was.

I started reading in 1998 and probably first posted in 1999.
1998-2002 - the golden age of rhod coincides with my university days. I
think we can safely conclude that rhod is mapping my life and I'll become a
single-celled organism in 2016.

Google tells me that my first post to rhod was in 2002;
conveniently around the start of my own university career. A career
that's ended this year. Ended for the moment, anyway.
I'd be scared of rhod's inevitable death, but then I never posted
much in the first place, so I'll just assume I'm immune. Of course,
I assume I'm immune to everything.

I've noticed a correlation here. I can't quite put my finger on it.
Any hints?

If you wait for 10 more years you won't quite be able to put your finger on
me either - what with me becoming a single-celled organism and all that.

Can you predict who will be making the post?

Just at a rough eyeball measurement + perhaps faulty memory, I believe
the top spike of the charts correspond to the DRINK! fiasco. Not
exactly the pinnacle of achievement, there. |

In what way was it not the pinnacle of achievement?
I too remember the good old days, back when rhod was filled with eager
and willing rhodents, good for a cheap laugh, a cheap trick, or a quick
trip to the sporting goods store for a cheap replacement cooler. We had
some times, then, mostly centered around making fun of Kimberly and
speculating about bright red fish. But that's all changed, perhaps we've
gotten wiser and smarter and better-looking and all that.
I blame KoL.

I used to know Kibo, and I still never found out what kibology was,
except that it had something to do with marshmallow peeps.

My first post was a week
ago or so, and I'm about
to go into college. I'm
seeing a pattern... I
probably don't count
though, what with this
being my second post now. |
