My father-in-law lives in a hive of scum and villainy where leaving a
window cracked is an invitation to burglers, where every door must be
locked with both the knob lock and the separate bolt, and where
leaving the garage door open means that the tools will walk off in
seconds.
I live in a nice neighborhood where locking ANY of the doors is mildly
paranoid, and where people with far more valuable tool sets than what
we have do in fact leave their garage open much of the time.
He lives in the extra bedroom on the north end of our house, we live
in the master on the south side. Wierd how we live in totally
different areas....
